After an extensive and successful career in investment banking, Jeff Wallner formed WSM in 2013 to create a sports and entertainment company that could provide its clients with the unique opportunity to invest in the New York City real estate market. Before founding WSM, Jeff had an extensive 17-year career working on Wall Street where he was recruited to build the Sports and Entertainment divisions for investment firms including Ladenburg Thalmann & Co., CIBC Oppenheimer, and AG Edwards, and managed financial portfolios for over 200 professional athletes and entertainers, with lifetime earnings of over $1 billion. Jeff, also an All-American high school and college baseball player, was a full scholarship baseball player at powerhouse Louisberg College in North Carolina, where he studied business. Jeff also played in two Connie Mack World Series in New Mexico and also played in the College World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Starting back in the sixties the Gindi family set the foundation of two New York City empires. Founders of world-renowned Century 21 department stores, they also ventured into the NYC real estate market. One of the largest and most established real estate families in NYC they have been involved in many transactions with profits in the hundreds of millions of dollars. The outside independent tax and accounting services for the entity holding the real estate will be performed by the accounting firm of Wilkin & Guttenplan P.C. with offices in NYC and East Brunswick, NJ. Wilkin & Guttenplan P.C. is a certified public accounting firm with strong knowledge and expertise in multi-family and commercial real estate. Wilkin & Guttenplan has worked with professional athletes for more than 25 years in areas such as financial planning, tax compliance, business acquisitions and retirement planning.
75-81 Nassau Street was purchased in the 1970s for $1 million and sold for $46 million.
69 Leonard Street was purchased in 2013 for $9 million. After $200K in renovations, the property is now valued at $17 million.
110 West 26th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues was purchased for $9 million in 2013. After a $2 million investment into the building, the property is currently valued at $18 million.
111 Reade Street was purchased for $7 million in 2011. Today the property is valued at $16 million.
